The Beautiful Chaos called a Creative

Industry Insight

So... you've got ideas. Bright ones. Wild ones. Possibly illegal in 17 countries because they're just too hot to handle. You can write stories that can be used in parliament (or at least your group chat), draw like Picasso took lessons from you, and make music that could make angels cancel their harp subscriptions (Angelflix and chill).

Congratulations! Your brain is a glittering, tangled ball of cosmic madness we call creativity.

But hey... are you SURE you want to do this for a living?

Let's not sugarcoat it: the creative path is a whole rollercoaster—with no seatbelts and a suspicious rattling noise that no one wants to acknowledge. You'll either be working for yourself, living off "vibes and Insha-Allah" and occasional exposure (which does not pay rent, in case you're wondering) or stuck in a company, pushing pixels or pitches at 3 AM, while your creative juices have dried up like 2 weeks old banku.

Sound familiar? Welcome to the club. We meet at the intersection of Passion Avenue and Existensial crisis junction.

But here's the beautiful part: if you're going through all this nonsense and still feel like this is the only thing you're meant to do, then congratulations again—you're not crazy. You're just a creative on the cusp of greatness. WOOOOWOLO! ! !

Creativity: The Gift That Looks Like a Curse... Until It's Not

People will doubt you. Clients will definitely ghost you after asking for "just one more revision." Your mind will occasionally stage a coup and whisper things like, "There are better artists out there," "You peaked in 2019," or "Chale do then go sell fos for Kantamanto."

Ignore it. All of it.

Because every time you power through a block, a bad review, or your own brain telling you you're trash, you level up. Your mind is a chaotic treasure chest, and even though it sometimes acts like a drunk grasscutter, inside it is pure gold waiting to explode out into the world like a creative supernova. Life is your game and you are the protagonist of your story. This is your character development, your Solo leveling(A wink for the anime fans).

Even if you didn't go to art school or read 900 books on writing theory or attend the prestigious School of Honorable career Elites—who cares? Your gift is yours. It's in your bones. Your soul. Your fingertips. Sometimes, your internet history (don't worry, we just listen, we don't judge).

The Path Is Lonely, But You're Not Alone

This journey? It'll feel lonely. Friends won't always get it. Some will pat you on the back while secretly wondering when you'll "get a real job. Some will even tell you straight to your face "Why? You fool or what?" Even family might give you the look—you know the one—like you just said you're becoming a full-time professional g)b3 eater.

And yes, there are a million other creatives out there. Amazing ones. Intimidating ones. People who draw with their toes and still win awards.

BUT. THEY. AREN'T. YOU.

There's only one you. One beautifully chaotic you. And you've got ideas no one else can conjure. So, fight. Push. Keep going. Let your inner Kratos, Cuck Norris, Rambo and even Kweku Ninja come out and wreak havoc. You're not here to blend in—you're here to throw metaphorical elbows and make your mark.

JUST DO IT. Like, Right Now

You want to draw comics? Animate wild characters? Write the next great fantasy saga about

demon slayers who fall in love with warrior angels? (Yes please.)

JUST. DO. IT.

Nike said it, and we second it—only we're adding more yelling and conductor hand gestures. Don't wait for perfection. Don't wait for permission. Don't wait for Jesus to finally come and take His chosen away(l hope I'm part of them).

This is your training arc. The villains are doubt, fear, procrastination, and that one cousin who keeps asking, "So what really you dey do eh?" Your job is to Hadouken them into oblivion and cause metaphorical fatalities (l'm watching you, Shao Kahn).

Final Boss Mode : Activated

Your creativity is fire. It's fury. It's love. It's madness. It's a chaotic masterpiece that deserves to be unleashed on the world. Whether you paint, dance, sing, make beats, sculpt, direct, design, or create weird little puppets for an oddly specific audience—do it loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.

Because this chaotic brain of yours? It's not broken. It's a blessing.

So to all the writers, artists, dreamers, rebels, and magnificent weirdos out there—raise a glass (or calabash), because your beautiful chaos is the spark that lights up the universe.

Create like your life depends on it. (It kind of does.)

Cheers to the chaos. Cheers to YOU.
